Lynne Hammond travels nationally and internationally as a teacher and author on the subject of prayer. She regularly writes articles in Winner's Way magazine and publishes a newsletter called PrayerNotes for people of prayer. Her books include Heaven's Power for the Harvest, Staying Faith, When It's Time for a Miracle, Living in God's Presence, Secrets to Powerful Prayer, When Healing Doesn't Come Easily, Dare to Be Free, and The Master Is Calling workbook. In addition, Lynne's other books, The Master Is Calling, Renewed in His Presence, Secrets to Powerful Prayer, and When Healing Doesn't Come Easily, have been translated into several different languages. Lynne and her husband, Mac, pastor Living Word Christian Center, a large and growing church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The desire of Lynne's heart is to impart Holy Spirit and corporate-led prayer to churches throughout the world. Under her leadership, the prayer ministry at Living Word has become a nationally and internationally recognized model for developing effective pray-ers in the local church. Each week at Living Word, 88 prayer groups led by 85 prayer leaders assemble for the purpose of following the direction of the Holy Spirit in prayer. Last year, more than 9,000 people participated in Chapel Prayer, which meets every morning at Living Word. Approximately 13,500 Internet subscribers, known as the Global Prayer Alert Network, receive daily prayer summaries from these meetings.
