About Stephen Charnock

Stephen Charnock (1628�1680) was a prominent English Puritan theologian and preacher in England and Ireland during the seventeenth century. He was trained at Cambridge and Oxford and is known for being the chaplain of Henry Cromwell, the chief governor of Ireland, and for his discourses on the existence and attributes of God. Mark Jones serves as the pastor of Faith Vancouver Presbyterian Church (PCA) in British Columbia, Canada, and research associate at the University of the Free State in South Africa. He has authored several books and speaks all over the world on Christology and the Christian life.
