ALL OF GRACE

Product Description

The 28th book in the best-selling Pure Gold Classics line, All of Grace presents a comprehensive teaching on the subject of God’s grace. Spurgeon shows how salvation is all of grace, and he bases this thesis on several Scriptures, including Ephesians 2:8-9. Spurgeon outlines the plan of salvation in this book in the hope that many who read it will trust Christ for salvation. In fact, he opens the book with these words, “My intention in writing this message is that many will be led to the Lord Jesus.” Charles Haddon Spurgeon, known as the Prince of Preachers, was a British Baptist Minister at the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London, England. Greatly blessed by the Holy Spirit, his success and worldwide popularity were largely due to his genius intellect, his natural gift of oratory, thoroughly biblical expository messages, and the fervent prayers of his congregation. Spurgeon’s many writings and brilliant sermons are still widely published today, testifying to his timeless appeal.

About Charles H Spurgeon

Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834–1892), the "Prince of Preachers," preached his first sermon at age sixteen and became a pastor at age eighteen. Spurgeon drew large crowds and built the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London in 1861 to accommodate them. He published over two thousand sermons; his inspiring and challenging messages comprise the largest collection of work by a single author. Spurgeon preached to an estimated ten million people during his lifetime, including notables such as the prime minister of England, members of the royal family, and Florence Nightingale. He appealed constantly to his hearers to move on in the Christian faith, to allow the Lord to minister to them individually, and to be used of God to win the lost to Christ. In addition to his powerful preaching, Spurgeon founded and supported charitable outreaches, including educational institutions. His pastors' college, which is still in existence today, taught nearly nine hundred students in Spurgeon's time. He also founded the famous Stockwell Orphanage.
